As stated and fits and works wonderful. Easy to install.

by:

All went good for the install the holes were a little off but was able to use a crow bar to pull it out to install. Oh box was a mess. Half was inbox and half was outside the box but great care was taking when it was delivered. Not to much scratches

by:

Received new hitch in short time in good condition. Had local mechanic remove OEM Class III hitch and installed new hitch in less than 2 hours. Pulled trailer successfully and it worked beautifully. Thanks etrailer!

by:

After watching an install video from etrailer the actual install went smoothly and was in place and ready to use quickly.

Sweet! Glad to hear that, WIlliam. :) What will you be using the hitch to haul?

by:

Fits my 2022 Ram 1500 Warlock exactly. Solid construction, well engineered, and easy to follow instructions.

The hardest part of installation was maneuvering it into position to bolt it on. Their installation video recommends having an extra pair of hands to help and that is great advice. I only had my two hands on hand and had to devise a contraption help me get it into place.

by:

Put the hitch on, no problems. Took an hour and a half. The hitch was well engineered and fit in tight spaces and the bolt holes matched up. Used my motorcycle jack to put it in place but lacked about 2" of going high enough so had to get the floor jack out to move it one side at a time enough to get the bolts in.

Works well, no problems

Great fit and finish on this Curt Class 5 hitch. Bolted up to my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic no problem and replaced my older Curt Class 3 hitch receiver. Fishing the bolts was a breeze, the hardest thing about the install was doing it by myself. Here's a tip to get the bolts started when working solo: fish the bolts through the frame in the very back of the truck (the ones that go in horizontal) and put some low profile vice grips on each to keep them in place. Lift the hitch into position and slide over bolts. Get the nuts started on each side, then remove the two pairs of vice grips and sink them down a little more. Now the hitch will hold itself in place so you can get started on the remaining bolts. Hope this helps those who are working solo!

Still a great hitch, pulled a variety of trailers last year ranging from a couple thousand pounds to 7,000+ lbs. Held up great and I have no reason to think it wont hold up for the life of the truck. My older hitch started to bend a little from heavy use.

by:

Excellent hitch mount. Installation is super easy and this thing looks bulletproof

All the products from this order have held up to the abuse ive put them through. Unfortunately/ Fortunately last month i acquired a new ram 2500, and will be buying new accessories from etrailer soon! Your customer service is great and prices are even better!!

by:

I ordered Class V hitch C15572 for my 2018 RAM Sport Night edition 4x4 from etrailer.com. The item was delivered on time and the shipping was free. I watched the suggested installation video and a friend and I got it installed in under an hour.

All the holes lined up perfectly and everything was flush. This hitch is 60+ pounds, so make sure you have extra hands to hold it in place while bolting it up. The only small issue was there were some scratches on the hitch that were covered with brown paper. Not a big deal - it's a hitch!

I would recommend this hitch and eTrailer to anyone. My friend wants to order one for his RAM Truck!

by:

Thank you etrailer for the prompt service and a great price. I ordered the Curt trailer hitch #C15572 for my 2018 Ram 1500 at 9:20 pm Friday night and got a email saying it had shipped at 10:15 pm that same night. Received it on the day (the following Wednesday) they said it would arrive but way earlier in the day. I read a lot of reviews before I ordered and some shipments may have been handled ruff and some people said the hitch was bent and hard to install. My shipment came and the cardboard box had a few small rips but upon inspection the hitch seemed fine. It is pretty heavy and the box seems a little weak for such a item but all hardware is well taped to the hitch and was intact on arrival. On reading the reviews one person mentioned using their floor jack and a slide in receiver for holding the hitch up and since I was going to be installing this myself I tried this out. As you can see in my pictures it works pretty well if you a jack you can bolt it too or clamp it too as in my case. The hitch only needed slight prying to line up the factory M12 bolts in the frame and the fishing wires made the job so much easier with the rest of the bolts. I am now ready to tow with confidence, thanks again for the great service.

by:

I'm absolutely thrilled with my hitch! Took me about 15 minutes to install with some assistance from my son.
I'm a mechanic. Rarely can you buy any aftermarket products that fit as well as this one!
Worth every penny! I will be buying a brake control box from etrailers very soon.
I pull an 8.5'X 20'car hauler & I needed a hitch for my 2020 Ram 1500 Warlock.
Shipping was fast. No hassles. Instructions were clear. Job was easy to do with no snags. Thank you so much.

by:

The hitch is great quality, and easy to install. However, it’s worth noting that on the Ram 1500 Rebel (and maybe other Trim packages as well) the bumper mounts to a bracket welded to the OEM hitch. You will have to salvage those brackets or make new brackets in order to mount the bumper back

by:

Very well made, fit like a glove and arrived the next day after ordering!

by:

Did it myself with help from my S.O. (Denise). As with any "diy" project, the install did not go smoothly but the product was not at fault! My RAM 1500 is 5yrs old & fortunately I've never needed the spare (so the 1st step: removing the spare became a THANG! The cable lock was completely frozen and required a good WD40 soak to free-up. Glad I was in my garage to do this and not stuck on the side of I35!!) As for the hitch it was delivered in 4-days. So far so good!

by:

This product arrived in great shape and on time. I had it installed in about 40 minutes with minimal help from my wife to just hold one side up while I started the two frame bolts. The video on how to put this on is awesome. It will definitely serve its purpose for years to come. Can't beat the prices or the product. Thank you

Easy install on my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic SLT 4x4 Crew Cab. It took less than 10 minutes to complete. Thanks to etrailer.com, shipping & delivery was quick & easy at an awesome price. The hitch looks great & is high up under out of the way.

by:

I was pleasantly suprised when the reciever was delivered 3 days after ordering. The box was undamaged in contrast to many other reviewers. I was happy that the kit came with 2 fishing wires so that my partner and i were able to work on each side simultaneously. Everything fit perfectly and took about 20 minutes. It actually took longer to retrieve the tools from the truck to drop and lowere the spare tire. Will definatley order more products from Curt and from etrailer.com

by:

etrailer made it easy to find the exact hitch for my vehicle. It came quick and was packaged to perfection. All hardware included and NOTHING was missing! Perfect fitment. Bolted right on. Their website even has "how-to" videos if you were to have any questions during installation! I highly reccommend etrailer

by:

Shipping time great, price fantastic. Quality Curt product. It took me longer to drop my spare tire down than it did to install the hitch. About 35mins. I've purchased several thins from etrailer, always 5 stars, thanks.

by:

Great receiver hitch with a great flat color finish! I highly recommend this curt receiver hitch! It also fits great with no drilling required. Install time for me was about 45 minutes was pretty simple with good instructions. Also I highly recommended ordering from etrailer. Great fast free delivery from etrailer. I received my product in 2 days!

  • Looking For Installer For Curt C15572 Hitch On 2017 Ram 1500
Hello Andy, thanks for reaching out, and for your recent order. I admit, this is the first I have heard of this issue when installing the Curt # C15572 hitch on a 2017 Ram 1500. You could try using a step drill bit to enlarge the hole. That is probably what they would use if you took it to a shop. It sounds like maybe your Curt # C15572 may have been slightly bent during shipping. If yours isn't lining up I can almost guarantee that is what happened. Some people will use open steps for leverage, vices and even car jacks to apply controlled force to bend the hitch back.
